Title: Senior Data / ML Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development, AI/ML model training, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable systems using containers and orchestration tools, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and processing high-throughput data streams.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Practical experience in training AI/ML models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with data streaming and processing tools such as Snowflake, Kafka, Apache Flink, or Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
• Experience of working in a very high rate of change and quick learning environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems with a primary focus on Python (priority language) and Java (secondary language).
• Train and deploy machine learning models, including preprocessing, training, validation, and performance tuning.
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, integration, and deployment workflows.
• Design and maintain data streaming and processing pipelines for real-time and batch data applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance through code reviews and best practices.
